Some progress yesterday with iPad support for DemoGod and ScreenSplitr. Since I am out of a job, I am considering selling DemoGod in the future. How much would you pay for it? $5 too much?

I feel that since you have indeed been giving out DemoGod for free that you should continue too. However, If you found a way to control your iPhone from your computer and such, you should sell it, and at that point, $10 would be sufficient. If you do decide to sell it now, though, then you should probably sell it for $5 :)

I’d pay $5

I really don’t want to jailbreak my phone or ipad and would gladly pay someone who put in the effort to make it work. $5 is a no brainer

I would definitely pay $5 – not sure about more.

I would pay $5. I am wondering, are you going to be releasing a horizontal iphone screen on the computer? I would pay $5 for that too.

@Arms you can rotate the display window in DemoGod so it shows the iPhone in landscape mode now.
I would definitely pay $5 for ScreenSplitr, both on the iPhone and iPad. This is a tremendous application and I really hope you continue. We need the iPad version!

When do you think the ipad version will be released? I have been using your iphone version to demo our apps and it works great. Any chance beta is available?
We would happily pay $5 even $10 for your software.
Great job.

Make the iPad Out VGA work on any iPad app (viewing on PC/MAc would be awesome too), but just the iPad VGA out working on any iPad screen would be worth $15.00 plus to me at this point…
It’s one of the biggest issues stopping the adoption of this for classroom purposes… I’ve wrote about this on MusTech.Net and how it limits our options as educators… just hooking this thing up to a LCD projector and projecting anything/everything on the iPad would be a huge step forward for educator adoption… I can’t believe this (iPad) doesn’t function this way “out of the box” and only Apps that are “coded” for VGA ouput work that way…

Please give us a beta or demo version, but $5 is ok for the Pro version. When will you release it? I’ve actually got to use it in 2 weeks.

One way to differentiate the free from the pro version would be to capture and represent finger touches. Anyone viewing a screen movie would immediately know if it were done by a “pro” or someone else. A lot more sophisticated than watermarking.
No doubt this would be a challenge but not impossible. Apps have to get this info in order to function so it should be well documented.
One final thought. Though this “pro” version is arguably worth $5, your total revenue would be higher at $2. That’s what matters most, total revenue.

ScreenSplitr is a great app and very useful for educators. We would definitely pay $5 for the pro version with iPad support.

As a college prof, any method to enable full vga out capabilities are beneficial to me. I would gratefully pay $5, perhaps as much as $10.

Hi Charlie,
Hi Charlie,
The latest ScreenSplitr supports iPad, albeit with iDemo on the computer inside an iPhone shell. I am working on making an iPad shell.
If you’re interested in VGA out, your best bet is to use Display Out in Cydia which supports the iPad.
Hope this helps.

I am desperately in need of an iPad version of this for a demonstration next week. Isn’t there a way to get a beta version? I am happy to buy it if needed.
