A dream come true. Thank you so much.

Love the idea, but the frame speed is way to slow to really utilize this product to it’s potential…

From what I hear this is a great app!
Unfortunatley, I have 3.0 Beta 2, and ScreenSplitr doesn’t work properly.
Are you going to support 3.0, and if so, when?
Thanks for your wonderful app. I can’t wait to use it!

Please correct me if I’m wrong but I think that the frame rate is a function of the CPU. In other words, we have to wait for and purchase another unit with a faster CPU. I’ve read that the 2G iPod touch is a tad faster than the iPhone 3G and the 2nd gen iPod touch.

Here are two improvements that might me implemented sooner than we’ll see a faster CPU.
Thing One: Rotating the phone when the image rotates (different that listening to the accelerometer, I think).
Thing two: Detecting touch gestures and representing them on the screen as ghost-like circles that get thinner and more transparent with motion/speed.
This last one might slow things down a bit further but the loss could be acceptable in many cases.

Love the app. will there be an upcoming version where you can control the iphone through demogod?
Something like what saurik has done with Veency and chicken VNC. problem with that is screen is way too slow for realtime use.

Hello, sorry about my english! Im from Brazil and I love your program. Thanks to share it with us. I think that ScreenSliptr is one of the most important and better applications developed for iPhone.
Tnx again!

I can get to ScreenSplitr w/o Bonjout (segmented network) using http://168.16.120.177:8099/content/home.html
How can I get DemoGod to do likewise? This addt doesn’t work with DemoGod.

I love DemoGod and screensplittr!
I can’t get it to work with an adhoc network on my Macbook Pro 17.
Any help would be appreciated.
Demogod recognizes iPhone but doesn’t ask for acceptance

Ah. Never tried it. Ok let me take a look and I’ll try to fix it.

This is a fantastic app! My only problem is that it can be a little laggy in places which I think is because of the speed of my network. Is there any way this can work over the wire? If not, is there another app that does the job?

Same issue mentioned above, but concerning official release of OS 3.0, app starts, DemoGod even sees the iPhone for about 2 seconds, then the app crashes on the iPhone. I’d also be willing to help get this working efficiently as I think it’s very cool.

ScreenSplitr doesn’t seem to like the 3.0 update on two iF iPod touch devices that I tested. When I tap the SS icon, the device appears briefly in either Bonjour or in DemoGod but quickly disappears,
Very sad. Hoping for a fix real soon now.

DemoGod rules. I’m just wondering if you can add a full frame or fit to screen function but without the iPhone frame. It’d be nice for my presentation.

Hi!
- When will we have a Windows version?
- What port is the server using? My company blocks ports from my laptops, is it possible to configure this and use port 80?
Otherwise thanks a lot, looks pretty sweet (when those two things will be sorted out!).

Best development for the Touch/iPhone yet. However as stated in other comments the framerate makes if essentially useless other than as just a novelty for full motion games and video. I don’t see how this can be a CPU speed issue since the ipod plays beautifully fluid through the on-board software and even TVout has far quicker framerates(although TVout is less than useless because it is glitchy, works on very few apps and does not support landscape mode).
Just wondering if the framerate issue is something that we can hope for in the future.

I wish I could get this to work. The farthest I’ve gotten is using VNC to control my iPhone. For the life of me, I can’t use Safari (XP) to connect. I also can’t telnet to confirm the software is working. Using VNC+Veency shows that I am able to connect to the iPhone, however. I think it’s a port issue or a conflict of sorts. Wish there was a way for me to really test this.

Why is it such a problem to get the same frame rate as the iPhone? What do Apple do in their keynotes? They have fast moving racing games and you can see everything that happens on screen. Usually devs. do better than Apple. Why is it such a problem?
